The U-M Transplant Center’s clinical home page is the hub of information about adult and pediatric solid organ transplantation. Since 1964, the Transplant Center has performed over 11,000 organ transplants including heart, lung, liver, kidney and pancreas. Wolverines for Life
Wolverines For Life is a unique collaboration of the U-M Transplant Center, the American Red Cross, Be The Match Bone Marrow Registry, Gift of Life Michigan, and Eversight Michigan. Working in partnership with Michigan Athletics, Wolverines For Life hosts the annual “Be A Hero” event at the Big House each November. Life-saving donation of all kinds is promoted at the annual signature Big House event as well as dozens of smaller events throughout the year. Wolverines For Life enjoys membership and support across all 3 U-M campuses, from faculty, staff and students, and from dozens of schools, departments, institutes and student groups, clubs and organizations.
